Prague

Been there a couple of times - both business and private - but this wonderful pearl of the CEE region can still amaze me! At any part of the day - or night - the city can show a lovely face to the visitor.
Even on a cold'n'cloudy day, you can find such beauties at the Petrin hill:

Lego castle

I bet it wasn't made purposely to look just as a Lego-castle, but quite like that, isn't it? :-)

Than there's the famous Karlúv most - aka. Charles bridge - being full of crowd daytime at any part of the year. But waking up early - and being lucky to have the hotel room not too far from - has its fruit:

foggy dawn at Karlúv most

Apart from a few people having an early walk - including some fellow photogs of course - its almost empty!

morning at the bridge

Fortunately, the local leaders are completely aware of the treasure in their hands, they use to have the amazing castle be well lit  for the night:

...and when you visit a city enough times, you can get lucky also by the weather - getting a small gap between clouds just the right place, just the right time. This picture below was absolutely not planned, I was just roaming around at the small hill next to the hotel and the office building when the perfect opportunity came. Murphy was working early that day though: I had my 50mm lens on, while the subject at the distance... Well, at least I've chosen the bigger resolution at the time of buying my D60...
It is a crop from the big image, but still a nice moment I think:

Presence of the Lord

Hopefully I'll go again soon - and with some little more luck can make such pictures than the above ones!
More to come about Prague than!
